Heather Italiano is an Organizational Health Consultant and a Certified Working Genius Master Facilitator. Known for designing high-energy, highly practical working sessions that bring clarity to contribution, reduce friction, and help teams collaborate more effectively.
As a Master Facilitator, Heather goes beyond assessment delivery. She is trained to analyze results, surface team patterns, and apply models and principles in real time—helping teams make quick, concrete adjustments to roles, workflows, and expectations.
Heather works with leaders and teams across hospitality, healthcare, technology, and professional services. She has helped hundreds of people discover their Working Genius, facilitating sessions for teams of 6 and large groups of up to 150—from Fortune 500 organizations to fast-growing startups.
Clients value her ability to connect with people at every level, translate insight into action, and create an environment where teams leave clearer, more energized, and aligned around how they work best together.

I bring a unique blend of discipline, strategy, and performance excellence to the consulting world. Before stepping into business development and sales, I spent years learning what it takes to perform at a high level—on and off the field.
My journey started as an All-American high school pitcher and top MLB prospect. Drafted straight out of high school, I competed in professional baseball, where I learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and focus.
After earning a degree in marketing, I transitioned to a successful sales career, working with Fortune 250 companies, private equity-backed firms, and startups to deliver transformative solutions. I’ve spent over a decade helping businesses grow through connection, strategy, and results.
Now, as the co-founder of People Warriors, I focus on business development and client relationships. While Heather leads as the primary consultant and facilitator, I’m here to help leaders navigate the discovery process—understanding their goals, challenges, and what success looks like for their team. By building trusted partnerships, I ensure we’re aligned and ready to take the next step together.

Hi there, I’m Heather, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I am on a mission to help people actually enjoy and find dignity and meaning at work. It’s a bold goal, but I believe it’s possible when teams are healthy, connected, and fully engaged. When the right people are in the right seats on the bus, they want to stay on the bus—and when everyone’s moving in the same direction, amazing things happen. Morale skyrockets, politics and confusion fade, and the team becomes more productive, efficient, and collaborative. And let’s be honest, when work feels this good, it’s not just a win for the organization—it’s a win for every individual who gets to be part of it.
But let me take a step back and tell you how I got here.
I didn’t start in leadership development—I actually began my career in casting in New York City. But life brought me back to Texas, where I stumbled into Hospitality and discovered my passion for building teams. In six years, I grew from an administrative assistant to Director of Learning & Development for the largest hospitality management company in the U.S. I trained leaders across the country and saw the magic that happens when teams feel aligned and connected.
Now, as the founder of People Warriors, I help organizations transform disconnected teams into fully engaged ones. Through workshops, speaking, and retreats, I bring energy, practical tools, and a passion for helping people and teams thrive.
